at riwishi, we want you to absolutely love your purchase! we understand that sometimes things don’t fit quite right or aren’t exactly what you envisioned. while we take great care in sourcing authentic items and providing detailed descriptions to help you choose perfectly, we know returns are sometimes necessary. our goal is to make this process as clear and fair as possible.
(eligibility & timeframe)
you can request a return for most items within 7 days of receiving your order.
to be eligible for a return, items must be in their original, unused condition – unworn, unwashed, with all original tags and packaging intact.
for hygiene reasons and other reasons pertaining to our international shipping contracts, items including underwear, swimwear, toiletries, pierced-jewellery items, fragrances/beauty products are considered final sale and cannot be returned.

received the wrong item or a faulty product? oh no! please accept our sincerest apologies. contact us immediately at shop.riwishi@gmail.com with your order number and a photo of the issue. we will take full responsibility and work with you quickly to make things right, typically offering a full refund or replacement at no extra cost to you.
changed your mind or need a different size/fit? no problem! If the item is eligible (see above), here’s how it works:
contact us first: please email us at shop.riwishi@gmail.com within the 7-day window with your order number and the reason for return. we’ll provide you with the return instructions and confirm the local Nairobi return address.
send it back: you’ll be responsible for arranging and covering the cost of shipping the item back to our Nairobi return address using a courier of your choice. we recommend using a trackable service.
processing & refund: once we receive the item and confirm it’s in its original condition, we will process your refund back to your original payment method.
(important note on refunds for change of mind/fit)
because we handle international sourcing and logistics to bring these unique items to Kenya, your refund for change of mind or fit reasons will be for the item’s purchase price minus a Restocking & International Handling Fee. this fee helps cover the initial, non-refundable costs associated with the international leg of getting the original item to Kenya for you.
original last-mile delivery fees paid at checkout are non-refundable.
